Saeed brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the public, non-profit and philanthropic sectors as a strategic advisor to organizations locally, nationally and internationally. His work has encompassed a diverse range of consulting engagements including organizational restructuring, strategic planning, change management, capacity-building initiatives, retreat planning and facilitation, and executive coaching. Saeed has also served on numerous non-profit boards and advisory committees at the state and national level. While at VIVA, Saeed has led projects that convene diverse stakeholders and groups around a common vision (collective impact), supported the development of large-scale countywide systems building initiatives (quality rating and improvement systems), and contributed to organizational development efforts of public governmental agencies (cascading strategic planning goals, objectives, and strategies). Saeed has a Master of Arts degree in Social Anthropology from the University of London and an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. He is an avid adventure traveler – especially when it comes to globetrotting on two wheels. In his first cross-country bicycle tour, he cycled across Asia and in his second, he traveled 5,000 miles from Alaska to San Francisco crossing the ALCAN Highway. Saeed is also an avid writer and photographer with an interest in documentary photography and visual storytelling.
